This policy explains how modules and other digital products offered in the store may be used, how licenses and domains are handled, how update access works, and what happens when access expires or is renewed.

1. License scope

  • The license grants only the right to use the digital product within the scope described on the product page and related sales materials.
  • A license may be limited by time, domain, quantity, functionality, store count, or environment type.
  • The license does not transfer copyright ownership and does not authorize redistribution, sublicensing, or resale unless explicitly allowed by the seller.

2. Production and development domains

  • If the product uses a domain-based license, the customer provides the production domain and, where allowed, the development domain.
  • A development domain is intended only for testing, implementation, and maintenance work related to the same license unless the product rules state otherwise.
  • The customer is responsible for the correctness of the provided domain data. Incorrect data may prevent activation, update access, or support handling.
  • Changing the domain, migrating the environment, or transferring a license may require contact with support and remains subject to the specific product rules.

3. Updates and compatibility

  • The update scope is defined on the product page and may include bug fixes, feature development, compatibility updates for new PrestaShop versions, or environment-related adjustments.
  • Unless otherwise stated, access to new versions may be time-limited.
  • The customer should make a backup before installing updates and should test new versions in a safe environment suitable for their implementation process.
  • The seller is responsible for product conformity within the scope arising from the contract and mandatory law, but not for issues caused by incorrect installation, code modifications, or conflicts introduced by other non-standard parts of the customer environment where such issues do not arise from the product itself.

4. Technical support

  • The scope of standard support is defined on the product page or in a separate service offer.
  • Support covers standard product functionality, verification of reported issues, and guidance on proper product use.
  • Custom development, bespoke integrations, and non-standard implementation work may require a separate commercial offer.

5. Expiration, renewal, and license breach

  • After the updates or support period ends, the product may still continue to operate, but access to new releases and technical assistance may no longer be available.
  • If the product offers renewal, it may be handled through a separate product, service, or renewal fee.
  • A breach of license terms may result in support restrictions, refusal of transfer requests, or legal action to the extent permitted by applicable law.
